PRICE DROP - 17 Rebecca Street - TRINITY-BELLWOODS

When this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house on a 14 x 57.25 foot lot was listed a couple of weeks ago, it kind of reminded me of the house at 91 Argyle Street that was listed at $549,900 and sold for $732,000.

This house was listed at $599,900.

It is steps to Ossington, and though it isn't big, it shows really well.  But a reader said that the kitchen was tiny and that that hole in the ceiling above the fireplace was where the heat for the second floor came from.  Really!?!  That is kind of crazy. 

I though it would sell way over.  Probably around $613,000...maybe even $630,000 based on what Argyle sold for.

But this didn't sell and the price has been dropped.

The new price is....

$559,900.

Know what else sold for almost the exact same price?  The tiny bungalow at 126 Manning Avenue with the box store front door and studio apartment kitchen that needed some touch ups.

Hmm.

For $3,000 more, I know which one I would choose even if it is REALLY close to Ossington.
