PRICE DROP - 53 Ava Road - FOREST HILL

Why is this house still on the market!?!

And why have they had to drop the price!?!

I really like this house!

I don't get it!!!

It is 4+1 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms on a 40 x 128 foot lot.

There is a living room, dining room, a nice, huge eat-in kitchen, a good sized family room with lots of light, a mud room, a big back yard....good sized bedrooms (I am ignoring fact that the closet is through the bathroom)....

This house was first listed at the end of February for $2,089,000.  I thought it would go for $2,200,000...maybe even $2,250,000.

It hasn't sold and the price has been dropped to $1,995,000.

What is the problem here?

This house at 13 Bowden Street in Riverdale sold for $1,980,000 in October.

I know it is a different location and a bit of a different style but this house is worth more than Bowden!!!!

I just don't get it.
