SOLD - 67 Northcote Avenue - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE
The style of this house isn't for everybody but I think it is great.
There is a lot that I am not into like the colour of the master bedroom (I think it would induce nightmares). And I am all for the neon trend but they REALLY committed here with the neon trim around the windows and the ceiling in the kid's room.
I would probably be more inclined to add neon with something like this...
Or this...
Or this...
But I still think it looks great!
And I love those storage baskets!
The couch in the living room is great too!
If these people entertain, it looks like it mostly happens in the kitchen though because that couch is about it for sitting on the first floor other than the dining and kitchen table (those other 2 chairs don't really look very comfortable).
I want this couch too...
And the kitchen table and light....
Basically, what I am trying to say is that these people have GOOOOD furniture.
Furniture aside...
This is a really big house and the living room could be moved to the front, the dining room to where that couch is, and then create a family room where that dining table is. And considering that there are 4 bedrooms in this house, it would make sense to have a family room.
But......
There is only one washroom.
ONE.
In a detached, 4 bedroom house on a 17.83 x 123 foot lot.
But there are 2 parking spaces.
This house was listed at $999,000.
Because it is detached, that is a low price but there is only 1 bathroom.
Otherwise, this house is done. It is big, the kitchen is great, the backyard is good....and with that one washroom, though I am not into the tile, painting it dark grey makes it look amazing!
Still....it only has one washroom.
Looks like a few people didn't care though because this house sold over.
WAY over.
After 6 days on the market, this house sold...
For $1,177,777.
The only one washroom issue aside, you have to admit, this house shows REALLY well (white trim aside).
SIDENOTE: I really want to see this house 2 doors down.
