215 Christie Street - SEATON VILLAGE
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 20 x 130 foot lot.
That is wide for a semi like this. And because it is so wide, the house on the inside seems a lot bigger than what you would expect. Or maybe that is because there isn't a lot of furniture.
That tv has got to be an 80 incher though! It's bigger than the door!!!
The floors are in good shape and the kitchen is really good. There is a little too much stainless steel for me but there is something about the kitchen...
That reminds me of the Emma Reddington's kitchen...
But she doesn't have that weird stainless steel piece on the counter up the wall. Is that a cabinet because it is kind of taking up a lot of space if it isn't.
The upstairs has 3 good sized rooms. One is a little small but it would be a good kid's room or office. The bathroom could use some tile but looks good as is with the walls painted black.
The basement has been renovated (though it isn't large AT ALL) and it has a good kitchen.
The backyard is a good size with a good deck. And there is a garage.
Only problem here is the location. It is on Christie right across from Fiesta Farms...
That's great if you are into organic but the piece of property is too good to not be bought by a developer at some point (which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you talk to).
Kind of like Honest Ed's...
That is also in the neighbourhood and is now for sale (for $100,000,000 apparently)!
But that development, when it sells, won't be starting for several years.
And even if there was a development at Fiesta Farms, I can't see it being a tall building. Christie Street might be busy, but not that busy.
This house was last listed in May 2012 for $719,000 (wonder if it sold then) and at $599,000 just two years before that!
It has been listed at $764,900 since May 2013.
Though it is a good house on the inside, the location isn't the best.
Are we going to see a price drop soon?
Maybe $749,000?
