And it went for....
This 5 bedroom, 1 bathroom house at 52 Stanley Terrace in Niagara was first listed in February.
It still had an NDP sign on the front of the house from years earlier, and I just noticed that the listing stated...
Easy To Show. The Home Is Currently Used For Storage And Not Lived In.
But if it is just used for storage, how come they are taking the garbage out? What is up with this house? Storage for WHAT!?!
Perhaps whatever is going on inside is the reason that this house that was listed in February for $599,000 and then sold just 6 days later for $600,000 was relisted only 2 months after the closing date for the first sale....
By the same seller!!!
Huh?
So, perhaps it is a similar situation to that at the leaning house at 312 Gladstone Avenue where it looks like a
'Representations and Warranties' was added after a sold deal fell through and the house was then relisted after just 2 months. But that house was relisted at the same price as it sold for the first time around.
This one was relisted in mid-August at a 5% increase to $629,000 and sold 2 days later...
For $630,000.
I have no idea what happened here, if the deal fell through, if there was a clause added...
What I do know is that unlike the house at 94 Macpherson in Summerhill, it wasn't the agent that bought the house, and then relisted it after just 2 months (what was THAT about?).
But why the 5% increase.
I am confused.
