When I posted this 4 bedroom, 2 bathoom detached house on a 25 x 140 foot lot at 56 Alcina Avenue in Wychwood, I liked it.
It has a lot of potential, a great lot, and a great yard, but it also had these stairs...
I am NOT a fan of these stairs at ALL.
And I just couldn't do this house for the asking price of $1,199,000 (with a price drop to $1,100,000 on August 30)...
No matter HOW much potential it had.
But.....as I mentioned in my post about the RIDICULOUS Garden Shed listing on a 20 x 14.5 foot lot with no running water, kitchen, OR bathroom at 30 Hanson Street that I posted on August 21...
The one that someone is trying to pawn off for $229,000...
The one that the Huffington Post wrote about the following day, and the Globe and Mail wrote about 8 days later, where they and some readers suggest that it was...
'A great condo alternative' and 'a steal'...
Ummm.....
If you consider the cost per square foot for that lot....
Then this house in Wychwood house with just a bit of a weird stair placement should be listed at $3,846,000....
FOUR FRICKING MILLION DOLLARS!!!!
So, the fact that this place sold for $#,###,###....
These people got a STEAL!!!!
AND running water.
See...prices in Toronto aren't so crazy after all!!!!
Unless you are in the market for a glorified parking spot/shack with electricity but no toilet or running water...
