AND IT WENT FOR - 443 Oriole Parkway - CHAPLIN ESTATES

This house was first listed at the end of May.

It is a 6+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom 'new' build (aka 'back to the bricks reno with an addition'?) on a 50 x 148.41 foot lot at 443 Oriole Parkway in Chaplin Estates.

I like the house.  I just didn't get all the built-in desks that limited switching up layouts in certain rooms.  And I wasn't a fan of the staircase placement.  I think if didn't open right up to the kitchen/family room, I would be more into it.  But I still don't really get it.

The asking price in May was $3,350,000.

After three weeks, they dropped the price to $3,175,000.

Though I liked it, the quirks and the fact that it is on a fairly busy street made that price feel too high.  

It thought maybe high $2s.

It didn't sell and the price was dropped again at the end of September to $2,995,000.

I was thinking more $2,895,000.

It just sold...

For $2,700,000.

It was the stairs.
