246 Confederation Drive - GOLFDALE GARDENS
A year ago, I posted a house at 183 Confederation Drive in Scarborough.
It was a house that had been designed by architect Harry B. Kohl in 1960, the same man behind the house at 2000 Strathallen Woods in Barrie...
And the same man behind the old 401 Rest Stops...
It was a 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 50 x 110.15 foot lot that was listed at $469,000.
After almost a month of being on the market, it sold for $475,000.
This house is located down the street. It is also a 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 42 x 119.25 foot lot.
It's a good house that could use updating like they have done at 183 Confederation Drive. It's just that this house doesn't have the same architectural charm.
That bar though....
That is a good feature.
It's not quite as good as the bar at 10 Silverdale Crescent in Don Mills...
But it's still a bar in the basement!!
Perhaps they should move that mirror though. That looks like an accident waiting to happen.
This house is listed at $399,000.
Can it be the same house as its neighbour at 183 Confederation Drive with another $76,000? No, but with half that or even less, it could definitely be brought up to date!
