THE ICE STORM
If you are in Toronto, or basically any part of southern Ontario, Quebec, or the Maritimes...
You are entrenched in a serious Ice Storm.
And like many of you, I can't get this song out of my head...
I also can't stop thinking about the 1997 Ang Lee directed movie, The Ice Storm, based on the novel by Rick Moody (not to be confused with Hank Moody).
If you are lucky to have power, are stuck at home, and haven't seen the movie, or want to watch it again, there is a link to the movie here. But just warning you, though I loved the movie, it is kind of depressing.
Moral of the story....
Key parties aren't always a good idea.
And (spoiler alert) neither is getting close to hydro during an ice storm.
But even if you didn't like this movie, you have to admit that the houses were pretty amazing. And houses is what we are all here to talk about. So, when I found this video, I had to share it. I would have liked more shots of the houses themselves, but it is still worth a watch.
Be safe out there!
