712 Richmond Street West - NIAGARA
When this house was listed last week, I looked at it quickly.
It was on my list of houses to post but not at the top. Until a reader (thanks K! sent it in this weekend.
And when I took a closer look, I realized there was something VERY familiar about it.
At first I was distracted by all the 'industrial' furniture. But then I saw the stair case...
And that wall...
And then the kitchen....
This house HAS to be by the same builder that did the detached house at 262 Lisgar Street in Beaconsfield Village.
Lisgar was a 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom detached house on a 20 x 113 foot lot.
It was first listed at $1,499,000. I thought it was more of a $1,250,000 house.
After 9 months and 3 price drops, it finally sold...
For $1,280,000.
This house is a 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom row house on a 15.92 x 97.5 foot lot. It is located across the street at 705 Richmond Street West that is listed at $1,449,000.
This house is listed at $949,000.
It had been listed at $499,000 in June 2010.
It's a not so huge row house with design choices that not everyone is going to get (I don't get that brick wall AT ALL).
Considering that this house didn't sell (I am assuming) last February when it was listed at $899,900...
Or at $949,900 when it was listed in January 2012..
I'm guessing it won't sell for the new asking price either.
It is a row house after all.
