A couple of weeks ago, I posted this 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 20.67 x 95 foot lot with 1 parking spot at 1238 Shaw Street just south of Davenport in the Davenport neighbourhood.

I didn't love the layout, but if the location didn't bother you being so close to a fairly busy street, this house was a good deal.

It was listed for $849,000.

I thought it would sell for $915,000...maybe a little higher.

It sold a little over a week ago...

For $1,002,018.

Okay, not free...

But still over $1 million!
