PRICE DROP - 1 Laurier Avenue - CABBAGETOWN
On Monday, I posted this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 15.83 x 74 foot lot at 1 Laurier Avenue in Cabbagetown.
It's a beautiful old Cabbagetown on the outside, but on the inside, it has been completley redone.
The listing said...
Interior Was Redone By Finish Architect Of City Halls Daughter & The Previous Owner & It Was Updated Again By The Same Family After Bought By The Present Owner.
Ummmm....
So, the designer of City Hall's daughter used to live here, she did a reno, then did another reno, then the house was bought by another family and now it is for sale!?!
Even though a reader in the first post tried to explain it (thanks!)...
I still have no clue what that sentence is supposed to mean.
Regardless, this reno is not for everyone. Though it makes me a little claustrophobic, I don't mind it. But I don't like the attic stairs in the living room at all.
This house was first listed in February for $1,150,000.
In March, the price was dropped to $1,100,000.
Two days after I posted it on Monday when I said this seemed like more of a $985,000 house, the price has been dropped again...
To $1,050,000.
Still too high.
