RELIST - 113 Willow Avenue (with 111 Willow Avenue) - BEACHES
When I posted this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom semi on a 17.33 x 93.5 foot lot at 113 Willow Avenue in the Beaches last spring, the first thing I said was that I loved it.
It wasn't big at all and the yard being at the front was kind of odd, but the furniture looked great and it was a great condo alternative.
The only big problem was the baseboard heating...oh, and that dishwasher under the sink that a reader pointed out.
The house was listed at $469,000.
I thought it would sell for $535,000.
It sold for $531,000.
Now, it's back on the market! And being sold with the attached house as 2 severed lots!!!
And the asking price is $1,299,000.
So, did the owner of 111 Willow Avenue buy the house and then just lease it out...to someone who looks like they just moved out of their parents house!?!
Seriously, that is hand-me-down furniture. Some nice pieces, but left over bits from an older generation downsize.
But what is THIS thing...
So, the price.
Is it too high? The lot isn't super deep but I am sure a new build would be able to build closer to the street.
But the lots widths aren't very big at 16.67 a piece.
So...$1.3?
It might be a little high but this is a great opportunity. It will go fast.
And I have to admit, though I loved 113 Willow when it was listed last year, it's just not doing it for me the same way this time around.
Goes to show you how much furniture can make a difference in a place!
Annnd....
Here is 111 Willow Avenue...
