mishMASH - PRICE DROP #2
When I first posted this 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom cottage on a 1.6 acre island called St. Helen's Island on Lake Joseph in Muskoka two years ago...
The asking price was $12,000,000.
Though the island itself is very impressive and it is a beautifully restored cottage on the outside, the inside is really dark.
Like...it isn't very bright and there are dead animals all over the walls (not really my thing). When I first posted it, I mentioned that, like the Long Island in Nova Scotia...
This cottage reminded me of 'The Most Dangerous Game' by Richard Connell...
For a cottage that probably wouldn't appeal to a lot of buyers because of the darkness, the price was pretty high even if it was its own island.
It didn't sell and the price was dropped last summer to $7,999,000.
It's now a new summer and the price has been dropped again...
To $6,995,000.
I'm thinking at that price...
This is going to be another....
For this cottage.
