AND IT WENT FOR - 355 Briar Hill Avenue - ALLENBY
It sold!
I first posted this house at 355 Briar Hill Road in the summer of 2013.
It was a 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 51.77 x 107.05 foot lot and the asking price was $1,899,000.
The house looked like an apartment building, the layout was terrible, and they cut down ALL the trees. Was it going to sell for that?
But to my surprise, in September...it sold for $1,700,000.
Annnd then it was back on the market in April
....this time for $1,849,000.
It didn't sell and the price was dropped to $1,699,000 in May. It wasn't selling for that so....
Then in June, it had a price change...
By August, it was back on the market with a new agent and a new price.
$1,599,000.
I thought it might be a good idea to replace this painting...
With this one...
But regardless of some of the odd design decisions like no living room and a tiny dining room...
It sold last week...
For $1,400,000.
Time to change the voicemail greeting...
