107 Dawlish Avenue - LAWRENCE PARK
If I hadn't posted the slightly dated but charming (some readers called it 'meh and I don't necessarily disagree) house down the street at 204 Dawlish Avenue yesterday...
The odds are, I probably wouldn't have given this house a second look.
It's a newish build in Lawrence Park, and we all know what it's going to look like inside.
But I did look at this house.
And as I was going through it, I noticed something.
This painting...
I knew I had seen it before.
Then I saw this...
Then there was this mirror...
This couch and those tables...
These kitchen stools...
These prints...
This bed and bench...
This basement couch and the orange trays...
And the list goes on.
Basically, it was ALL the furniture from that house at 106 Crescent Road...
The house that just sold for $742,235 LESS than what it sold for in January.
Here is that stuff in the house at 106 Crescent Road from when it was first for sale in 2012...
It's everything but the kids bedroom furniture!
Speaking of the kids' rooms...
After looking at this furniture, those rooms are in the wrong house.

Does not belong to the same person who did this...
Not to mention that all the furniture on the first floor in this house is from 106 Crescent Road, and this is what one of the kids' rooms looked like in that house...
Not the same family.
I would say that clearly the old owners of 106 Crescent Road moved here and are now selling, but the difference of the kids' rooms just doesn't make sense.
Are you confused? I'm confused.
Basically, I have no idea what is going on here.
But that first floor does look pretty good.
This house is 5+1 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms on a 50 x 166 foot lot.
The asking price is $3,195,000.
The same as the final September 2013 asking price at 106 Crescent Road.
