This is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 30 x 120 foot lot at 474 Woburn Avenue in Lawrence Manor.
It was listed in July for $2,028,000.
It sold in August for $1,960,000.
But that's not why I'm posting it. For some reason, and I don't know why, this house was recently listed in the solds.
And the reason I find it interesting is....
I think this house was done by the 9 Level Builders that also built the fishtank houses at 102 Joicey Boulevard...
That was listed last summer for $4,299,000 and eventually sold in March for $3,895,000.
And 147 Ridley Boulevard...
That was listed a couple of weeks ago for $4,498,000.
It doesn't have 9 levels and there is no fishtank, though it does have a wine tank...
But when I saw the photos, there was just something very familiar about it.
The pot lights are the same, the garages are the same, the back decks are the same, each house has a basement bar...
But what confirmed it for me was this bed...
It's basically the same thing as this wall in the kitchen of Ridley Boulevard...
This house used to look like this...
Guess this new build trend....
Is being replaced by this...
And I am not so sure that is a good thing.
