AND IT WENT FOR - 25 Maclennan Avenue - ROSEDALE

That took a while!

I first posted this 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 40 x 100 foot lot at 25 Maclennan in Rosedale in April 2013 (yup, sorry to remind everyone on this freezing day that there was still snow in April of last year).

Other than the exterior brick and all that white that I didn't really get, I loved the inside.  I loved the floors.  Basically, I liked the whole thing.

However this wasn't a family house.  The whole second floor was basically a bedroom, and the upstairs rooms were more like one bedroom and one office.

So, this was a professional couple's house or a single person's home.

Turns out, it was owned by Michelle Lloyd of Lloyd Ralph Designs,  former VP of Designer for Club Monaco.

But despite being a great house (with a refrigerator facing the front door), with only 2+1 bedrooms,  this wasn't a $2,795,000 house.

I thought it would sell somewhere closer to $2,450,000.

It didn't sell and the price was dropped to $2,495,000 in May.

Still no sale and the house was brought back on the market in October with some rearranged furniture...

And some things I liked gone..

The new asking price was $2,350,000.

It finally sold...

For $2,150,000.

I wonder if this 2-seater black BMW...

Is getting replaced with this larger 5-seater black BMW...
