AND IT WENT FOR - 298 Sackville Street - CABBAGETOWN

The first time I posted this house at 298 Sackville Street in Cabbagetown was at the end of October.

The listing said it was a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 29.06 x 90.22 foot lot, but it was really a 1+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a 2 bedroom basement apartment.

But if you were single, or a couple, this would be a great house.

It was giving me a Michael Angus of Angus and Company vibe.  

But though I can't find it now, I remember seeing somewhere that this was actually owned by someone with the last name 'Daniel'.  So, was this owned by one of the owner's of the Cabbagetown food store and catering company 'Daniel et Daniel'?

I am not sure, but what I do know is that I thought it was going to sell for higher than it did.

It was listed at $1,200,000.  I thought it would sell closer to $1,235,000.

After 2 weeks on the market, they dropped the price in November to $1,149,000.

It sat on the market for 67 days, but has finally sold...

For $1,125,000.

Hope that doesn't mean that this is moving some time soon as well...
