mishMASH PRICE DROP - 3970 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges - MONTREAL

This 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom house called Sparrow Manor at 3970 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges has been listed for a long time.

I first posted it in November 2012 when the asking price was $6,895,000.

It's a grand house that was built in 1909 and it has been completely updated.  But the updating doesn't suit the house at all.

The floors are all wrong.  The fixtures are wrong.  That modern fireplace is wrong.  

And clearly that price was wrong because this house is still on the market.  

I am not sure when it happened, but this house had a price drop.  Besides the reno not suiting the house, as with most Montreal listings, this isn't a surprise as it was overpriced to begin with.

The new asking price is $5,750,000.

At least I think it is still for sale.  According to this link, it is still listed.  But according to the listing site, it doesn't exist.

So....maybe they are dropping the price again...

Because I can't imagine that this sold.
