154 Forest Hill Road - FOREST HILL (UPDATE)
Earlier today, I posted a house at 102 Glen Road in Rosedale that just sold and had apparently been designed by architect Richard Wengle in 2008.
According to the listing for this 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 170 foot lot...
'Its Owner-Designed By Richard Wengle'
So, this is his house?
Uhhhhh....it's not very colourful.
Other than this...
And I suppose this wine version of the Paul Beliveau book paintings...
(which really isn't very colourful)
The only colour in this house is in the kids' rooms.
This house is listed at $5,949,000.
I suppose if the house at 190 Forest Hill Road...
Could sell for $5,268,000 in October 2013...
There is no reason this architect designed home couldn't sell for close to its asking.
Except that it is only 4 bedrooms.
That's going to be a problem.
P.S. Something is driving me nuts. I've seen this painting in another house...
I just can't place it.

So....probably not Richard Wengle's house.
It was built by G.E.S.
It was designed by Richard Wengle.
The same pair that built (I think) and designed the house at 115 Rochester Avenue that I really liked...
Also, just found another Malcolm Rains (thanks to the reader below) painting on the G.E.S. website and also from this house...
Still can't figure out the other house that has one as well.
