274 Westmoreland Avenue - DOVERCOURT PARK
This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 17.65 x 132 foot lot at 274 Westmoreland Avenue.
It's a great looking house from the front if you like the dark grey...
And inside...
If you have ever been to Lee...
And Lee Lounge...
Luckee...
Madeline (now Lee Lounge)...
Or Bent...
And appreciated the interior...
You will probably be into this as well.
According to the listing, this house was decorated by Brenda Bent of Bent Gable Design Inc. She is also the wife of Susur Lee, the owner of all the restaurants above except for Thompson Diner.
And I am wondering if the was more than just designed by Bent. I'm thinking this may either be owned by Bent or one of her children because the benches that are in Bent restaurant...
Are also used here in the dining room...
And this creepy doll...
That is also in their home on her website...
That was featured in Homefront magazine in October 2014 with a photo of their bedroom...
And as you can see, that mirror above is also in this house...
As are those lights from their bedroom...
And I'm thinking those aren't mass produced.
The red chair from their house...
Is in this house...
And these couches...
Though not shown in her current home, are featured in another house on her website that also has that creepy doll...
So, either Bent sold all her furniture to her client...
Or this house belongs to someone in her family. But that stove does not seem like a stove of a chef...
Not to mention that it used to look like this less than a year ago...
So I am a little confused.
But back to the house...
Even if the art and doll aren't your style, this is a good house.
I love the kitchen floor tile and the wide wood planks on the first floor. I also like the washrooms. The yard is a good size, but could use a fence if you have a dog.
And thankfully, I am pretty sure these butterflies are photoshopped...
Because that's a lot of attack butterflies.
This house is listed at $799,000.
This will sell fast.
But there are some quirks like this toilet in front of the window...
(that painting might be creepier than the doll)
So, though I think it will go over ask, I don't think it will go over $1,000,000.
Perhaps somewhere around $945,000...maybe.
