PRICE DROP - mishMASH Monday
Three years ago, I posted this 7 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 7,000 square foot house over looking Georgian Bay at 57 St. Lawrence Street in Collingwood.
It is called 'The Breakers' and was the Globe and Mail Home of the Week.
The asking price was $4,495,000.
And though it was a beautiful house...
$4.5 million for a house in downtown Collingwood that certainly overlooks Georgian Bay...
But it also overlooks a road and this public beach...
I didn't think it would sell for that.
And it didn't.
By May 2013, the price had been dropped to $3,850,888.
I thought the price was still way too high. Looks like it was because this house is still on the market.
And the current asking price is....
$2,998,000.
I still think it's a little high...
But that is definitely better that $4.5 million!!!!!!!
