638 Euclid Avenue - PALMERSTON
This is a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi on a 14.04 x 125 foot lot with 2 parking spaces at 638 Euclid Avenue in Palmerston right near Mirvish Village.
I am assuming it is a flip since it looked like this 3 years ago...
And it looks like a flip I have seen before.
It wasn't the Audrey Hepburn print either...
There is something about it that reminds me of the work of the Barn Door Flippers whose last house that I am aware of them working on was down the street at 455 Euclid Avenue...
Both have the exposed brick and the exposed treads (thank you to the reader below...treads, not rafters...or is it riser?) on the stairs...
But this house doesn't have the bathtub...
Or the brown kitchen...
And the railing in this house is different.
There is just something about it that feels similar. Maybe it's because this house basically looks like a lot of other flips.
But it is a good flip if exposed brick is your thing. For me, it's too much. I would be into it if it was painted white (some people may completely disagree).
The kitchen is a good kitchen (not loving the sink in the corner), the rooms are a good size, it's bright, the basement is a good ceiling height...
I just don't get the point of this door...
Sure, it is a privacy door to the master bedroom on the third floor which totally makes sense...
But when the stairs to the third floor have the open treads*...
What is the point!?!
This house is listed at $1,399,900.
The house down the street at 455 Euclid was listed at $1,985,000. It sold for $2,025,000.
But it was a bigger house. It was still only 3 bedrooms, but it was 20 feet wide versus this house which is 14 feet wide.
Although the neighbouring house has seen better days...
And that back fence kind of sucks...
