383 Shuter Street - REGENT PARK
This is a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on an 8 x 70.50 foot lot.
And no. That is not a typo.
This house is 8 feet wide.
That is really narrow! But it is not the most narrow house in Toronto. That honour belongs to the house at 128 Day Avenue...
That was for sale in 2007 for $173,000.
This house that is only 7.5 inches wider...
Which is basically the same size as....
The width of an iPad...
Is listed at $750,000.
It's a lot bigger than the 300 sqaure foot house at 128 Day and the location at Queen and Parliament is a little different than the Dufferin and St. Clair location, which is a a good or bad thing depending on who you ask...
But $750,000?
For that price, I would rather buy a a house like the one at 119 Trinity Street in Corktown...
But there is probably someone who wants to live in the second narrowest house in Toronto.
And if the shed that I posted at 30 Hanson Avenue that didn't even have running water...
Could sell for $165,000...
Then this place with 2 bathrooms, a good kitchen, a sauna, and a backyard could possibly sell for $750,000.
And if it gets featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show like the hosue at 128 Day Avenue did in 2008....
Then maybe it might even sell OVER asking!
