This is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 65 x 135.58 foot lot at 174 Strathgowan Avenue in Lawrence Park.
It is a new build that used to look like this...
So...the garage was at the side.
But for some reason, when this was being built in 2010, they decided to move the garage to the south side of the house.
Why?
I don't know.
And I don't know why they replaced it with the family room and 3 doors walking out to a parking pad...
And then a street...
It's weird.
I suppose if you were to put up a fence and make that a mini basketball court, that could be kind of amazing with the family room there.
It just needs more privacy.
I love the floors and the railing colour. And that living room with all the sun is amazing!
If you are into expensive new build cottages in Muskoka that look like they should be a home in Toronto instead only being used for only 3 months a year, you will love this place.
But as it is, even with the great staging, this house doesn't feel lived in. There isn't a lot of warmth, but there could be.
And if you want to be near a ravine path to walk your dog, the location is amazing.
This house is listed at $4,980,000.
At that price, the no fence and garage situation is bugging me.
But I don't think it will sit for long. And my guess is, it won't sell to far off list....maybe around $4.6.
