165 Ridley Boulevard - CRICKET CLUB
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 135 foot lot at 165 Ridley Boulevard.
It is a new build that used to look like this...
And though I am not a fan of the outside of this new build, like at all...
The inside is interesting. Even though it isn't really my thing, it kind of grew on me as I went through the pictures.
And when I went through the pictures, I noticed this...
Right away, I thought of the house in my last post at 164 Aldwych Avenue in Greektown...
That had a really similar wall in the kitchen...
So, I thought maybe this was the same builder.
But this house was done by OE Design Limited while the Greektown house was done by Bananarch.
What is interesting though is that this is the kitchen of one OE's past kitchens...
And here is one of those walls from another one of OE's projects...
Soooooo....
Just a coincidence?
I don't know, but this house is definitely a larger version of the Greektown house (or the Greektown house was a smaller version of this house!).
And though I don't love the outside, it is a good house on the inside.
The Greektown house sold last week for $1,525,000.
This house has been on the market for a little over a month...
For $4,298,000.
Is this a better house than the one at 102 Joicey Boulevard that sold for $3,850,000...
Well, considering that it is on a smaller, less private corner lot, and it has 2 less bathrooms...
Probably not, but the design choices are a little less crazy.
I really wish there was a floor plan.
