AND IT WENT FOR - 18 Foxley Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE

Yesterday, I posted this 3 +2 bedroom house on a 19.75 x 100 foot lot with a 2 car garage at 18 Foxley Street in Beaconsfield Village.

It was a good house that had been renovated and they had done a good job.

But I thought the asking price was a little crazy.

This wasn't a big house with a basement apartment and no access from the main floor if you decided to use the whole house.  And because you couldn't use the whole house, even though this was totally renovated, I thought the $1,849,000 inital asking price was crazy.

And I thought that the price drop that I posted yesterday to $1,799,000 was not going to help at all because this was probably more of a $1,450,000 house.

Looks like I was wrong.

This house sold yesterday...

For $1,780,000.
