AND IT WENT FOR - 59 Heath Street West - DEER PARK
I first posted this house in May.
It is a 4+1 bedroom 5 bathroom house on a 36 x 167 foot lot at 59 Heath Street West and this is what it used to look like...
Because this is apparently one of the first house on Heath Street, it was deemed a heritage house...
Which is why the original structure is still in the facade. But a full addition has been added and this is basically a whole new house despite the facade that is still standing.
Other than the weird office at the back on the first floor (and the glass on the stairs for some), this was a good house, if you were into white walls and white oak.
Only thing is, there was a massive apartment building in the backyard...
And the asking price was $4,249,000.
I thought it would sell closer to $3.8...maybe a little less.
It didn't sell and the price was dropped in June to $3,995,000. I thought it would need another drop.
At the end of September, the house was relisted at $3,995,000 (why no drop?).
It took 39 days, but this house finally sold...
For $3,820,000.
