SOLD - 442 Wellesley Street East - CABBAGETOWN

This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom row house on a 14 x 100 foot lot at 442 Wellesley Street East in Cabbagetown.

It was listed last Tuesday.   It sold on Saturday.

I am not surprised in sold in only 4 days and it's not because of the Pellegrino...

It's because it is a great house.

It isn't a totally renovated house which is what I like about it.  It has original pine floors on the first floor (I think that's what they are).  It is small, but it is bright.  And even though it is small, there is a first floor powder room that doesn't wreck the space.

And the kitchen is new.

I don't love the fridge and stove/oven being so close to each other though it's not that big of a deal.  But I do like the built in knife storage in the counter...

(Or maybe they just stuck them between the stove and the counter?)

There is 3 seater counter...

And a family room...

With perhaps a need for some more storage...

Upstairs, the rooms aren't huge but they are good for small kids.  I'm just not sure why there is a protable heater (that's what that is right?)...

Because there is forced air.

And there is a good sized backyard with a lane parking spot.

It was listed at $899,900.

It sold...

For $900,000.

Could they have gotten $930,000?  Maybe.  But probably not.  It is a row house.

P.S.  I have no idea what this means...
