AND IT WENT FOR - 391 Markham Street - PALMERSTON

Last week, I posted this 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 34.5 x 129 foot lot with a 3 car garage and 2 parking spots at 391 Markham Street in Palmerston.

It was listed at $1,499,000 and it was clearly listed for a bidding war.

Because the house across the street at 392 Markham Street...

Was listed at $1,590,000 and sold for $1,800,000 in March.

This house was a similar house that could be okay as is (well, except for the kitchen in this place) but would be amazing with a lot of work.

And if you are spending almost $2 million on a semi, you are probably going to do a lot of work.

Since this place was a little larger and had the larger lot size that allowed for a family room extension, I thought it would go a little high than 392 Markham Street.

I thought it would sell for about $1,900,000.

It sold in 8 days...

For $2,110,000.
