This is a 3+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 22.83 x 98.33 foot lot at 74 Winona Drive in Wychwood (or Hillcrest).
It's a great looking house from the outside, and on the inside, it's good.
I wish there was a photo of the front porch, but from the front door inside you can see that the house has a nice open feel to it.
The floors are a little dark for me but that could be changed. I like the kitchen. I just wish I could see it up close a little more.
The third floor has 2 good sized kid's bedrooms and apparently a bathroom, and the basement is finished.
But on the second floor, the layout is kind of weird.
Basically, the whole second floor is master bedroom but split up with the hallway to the office space that leads into the bathroom and another office space....
Which leads to a second floor hot tub...
Why?
If you look at the side of the house from the streetview...
You can see that the hot tub sits on top of a garage that is attached to a room that isn't shown in the photos.
It would be great to get rid of the garage and create a first floor family room with a mudroom and then move the master bedroom into the space above. Then the area outside the bathroom could become a walk through dressing room to the master and what is now the master could become another bedroom and bathroom or a family room/office.
Basically, there is a lot of potential here even if it is on a corner lot (which I actually really like here).
It was listed at $1,249,900.
When a reader sent it in, I said I thought it might go for about $1,475,000 and with about a $200,000 addition, this would be close to a $1.7 house. But it would be a possible 4 bedroom house with a family room, a mud room, and parking for 2 cars.
In this market, it seemed like a deal.
