Last week, I posted

this 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 50 x 150 foot lot with 4 parking spaces at 8 Ridout Street in Roncesvalles.

It was a beautiful old house on a big lot in a great area.

It had been updated on the inside.  Ideally, I would have liked to have seen a family room extension. And as one reader pointed out, for a house this size, it was kind of odd that there was no first floor bathroom.

But if you were into the wood, this was a great house.

It was listed at $2,495,000.  I thought it would sell for asking, if not a little more.
