SOLD - 34 Scarcliff Gardens - GUILDWOOD
A couple of days ago, a reader sent in the listing for this 3+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 50 x 164.89 foot lot at 34 Scarcliff Gardens in the Guildwood neighbourhood of Scarborough.
And if this photo of the living room looks familiar...
It's because this house was in the Globe and Mail in December 2013 and was featured in the Sarah Richardson show 'Real Potential'.
That show also featured a house that had been on this site a few years earlier at 42 Westmoreland Avenue...
I wasn't crazy about that reno.
But this house was one of my favourite renos done by Richardson.
I loved the floors and the living room space. I kind of wish there was a floating shelf on one wall above the tile in the kitchen and I don't love a stove in an island AT ALL...
But this was a great transformation. And they kept the bar.
Here are the BEFORE photos from the episode when the house was listed in March 2013 for $549,000...
Almost 3 years later, it was on the market again with all the same furniture from the show, including these wood balls...
