PRICE DROP - 81 Binscarth Road - ROSEDALE
At the beginning of January, I posted
this 5 bedroom, 7 bathroom, 6,000 square foot house on a 100 x 440 foot lot at 81 Binscarth Road.
It was listed at $8,400,000.
Sounds pricey considering this house needs a lot of work. But it was a unique property with lots of table land and a view of the city over a ravine (and the DVP).
It is located a few doors down from a property that looked like this in 2009...
When I thought it had been listed for $7.5 million.
According to a reader, it sold for $2.31 then and was renovated to look like this...
And was relisted in 2010 (which is probably where the $7.5 number is coming from in my head).
But whatever it was listed for or sold for in 2010...
This house house could be an amazing house with a full renovation and perhaps an addition.
And it would still be a lot less expensive than the ridiculously priced house on the ravine lot at
...
That is listed at $16,800,000.
But considering this house had been listed for 6 months before I posted it in January, and now it has been listed for 9 months...
It's not a surprise this has had a price drop.
The new price for this house is $7,900,000.
It might need another drop.
