SOLD - 69 Tranby Avenue - ANNEX

In May 2012, I posted

a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom (I think) row house at 67 Tranby Avenue in the Annex

...

It was a flip of house that used to have this room...

That was gutted an replaced with this living room...

It was listed at $1,298,000.  It

sold for $1,237,500

.

Four years later and thise house that is attached to that house was on the market.

It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom end of the row semi on a 14.96 x 101.33 foot lot with 1 parking spot at 69 Tranby Avenue.

It isn't a brand new reno having been done in 2005, but it is a good house.

The kitchen may be 10 years old but it still looks current.  I am just not loving those Fornasetti plates.  I do love the

Acquario

wallpaper that I mentioned in the post for

41 Melville Avenue

...

But I am not a fan of the

Tema a Variazioni

series with the faces like the chairs in the house at

287 Forest Hill Road...

Or the pillows at

94 Moore Avenue

...

Or the tiles in the kitchen of the house at

163 Macpherson Avenue

..

But that's just me.  And at least in this case, the plates are going with the owner.  And if you don't love the red living room, that can easily be painted.

Overall, this is a really good house.  And considering that the neighbour at 67 Tranby Avenue built an addition at the back (with what I assume would be a bit of an internal reno as well)...

Then the $1,849,900 asking price for an older but better reno 4 years later doesn't seem so crazy.

This house

sold

 in 7 days...

For $1,869,000

listing
