FOR LEASE - 59R Admiral Road - ANNEX
In October 2015, I posted this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom coach house on a 40 x 60 foot lot at 59R Admiral Road in the Annex.
And there was something about it that I loved. Not the design choices necessarily, but the house overall.
When I see the house now, I realize it reminds me of the house at 205 Glen Road in Rosedale...
That house was listed in 2012 for $1,899,000 initially (which was nuts!) and eventually sold for $1,470,000 (which was actually less than I thought it would sell for).
This house was listed at $1,595,000 three years later. I thought it would sell closer to $1,850,000.
And now it is for lease fully furnished (and it is actually good furniture!) for $7,500/month.
So, with this house seemingly being purchased as an investment (I can't imagine it taking months to draw up plans to renovate this place)...
And the house at 89 Ridge Drive that was renovated 6 years ago and is also for lease...
Is this showing an increase in the trend of people buying property for investment purposes? Because if that's the case, according to this article, that's not so good.
