At the end of April, I posted

this 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 50 x 181.16 ravine lot at 89 Ridge Drive in Moore Park

It was a house that had been fully renovated in 2009.  I didn't really love it but it was all done well.  It was just very dark (or heavy as I called it).

It was listed at $3,995,000.

At that price, even though the house was on a great street with an amazing view of the city, they would need to find someone who loved the house as it was.

Or just someone who was willing to pay the extra money to get a house exactly as they wanted no matter the price to get a south facing house on this street.

It took several weeks but

this house eventually sold for $3,875,000

.

And now it is for lease for $19,000/month.

Which either means someone had cash to spare and bought this house as an investment...

Or someone is completely redoing the house and they are leasing it until the plans are ready.
