878 Palmerston Avenue - SEATON VILLAGE
This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom detached house with a 2 car garage at 878 Palmerston Avenue in Seaton Village.
It is a house that used to look like this...
From the looks of the street view, it was renovated in the winter of 2012.
And according to the listing, it is a designer's own home.
From a quick search on the internet, it turns out is the home of Roseland Art and Decoration owner, Francoise Turner-Larcade seen here in the house from a 2015 article in the Toronto Star...
She not only has a thing for whiskey...
As you can see from the photos of her in the garage...
She also clearly has a thing for lights. My favourite are the Damien Langois-Meurinne light in the dining room...
That is also in the 'garage studio' but in white (apparently you can get it in any colour)...
There is also a Mathieu Lustrerie light in the garage...
Speaking of the garage, it also has a fireplace and a basement! That's the nicest garage I have ever seen.
Inside the house, it's a pretty great house. I am not loving the layout of the first floor, but the way it is all put together, it looks amazing.
It is a fully done house with good bathrooms (that may be a little dark for some), lots of bedrooms, a good backyard...
And that garage.
Even though the house itself is impressive, the garage is selling the house.
But $2,495,000!?!
When you take out the art and the furniture? I don't know.
But other than the layout of the first floor, the rest of the house is laid out really well and could be great for a family.
So...$2.5?
Maybe...maybe a little less.
P.S. Why no photos of the basements or the second floor of the garage?
