128 Collier Street - ROSEDALE
This is a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom semi on a 19.83 x 85 foot lot at 128 Collier Street in south Rosedale.
In general, it's a good house. But it's kind of like they couldn't figure out if they wanted to live in a trendy flip like the house at 10 Ellerbeck Street in Playter Estates...
With that wood wall in the basement...
Or a very decorated house like 90 Rocmary Place in Vaughn...
With some of the furniture choices and that living room ceiling...
Okay, maybe not quite but the style of this house seems to be all over the place. If you are good with the tile choices of the bathrooms (they are a little OTT for me), it could be fairly easy to tone down the house for a simpler style.
But the price.
This house has a good location being a short walk to Yorkville and Summerhill but it is a semi that is also surrounded by offices buildings. And it overlooks Park Road that can be REALLY busy at rush hour...
Also, the listing says the house has 2 parking spots but they are not on the property. Apparently, they are rented spots that are located 'minutes away' (whatever that means).
And from what I can see based on this video that was posted on October 12 ...
This house has been listed since at least mid-October.
The asking price then $2,999,000. It is now listed with new agents but not a new price.
And that price.
As the person who sent in the listing said...
'$2.999 on Collier!?!'
Collier is kind of a weird street despite the location to other neighbourhoods.
This house is probably going to need a price drop.
P.S. I'm not sure I can deal with those lights on the stairs.
