This is NOT what I was expecting.
When I first saw the listing for this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 25 x 204 foot ravine lot at 27 Astley Avenue in North Rosedale, I thought it was most likely going to get torn down.
It looked like it was built in the 70s and hadn't really changed since.
But then I saw the interior listing photos and...
This is a REALLY good house.
I don't love the separated kitchen at the front but it is a good kitchen. And that living room with all the windows overlooking the ravine makes up for it.
According to the listing, it was renovated in 2012. And according to the streetview, the renovation was designed by Altius Architecture Inc., the same architects behind the Clearview house at 6979 Nottawasaga 36/37 Sdrd E...
And construction was done by Garrett Enterprises.
It is now listed at $1,895,000.
Sure, there are only 3 bedrooms, but if that is all you need, it's a great house with a good design and a good sized ravine lot. I think it will sell fast and probably closer to $2.1.
