12 York Valley Crescent - HOGG'S HOLLOW (5 Comments)
It's not a McMansion!!!
In June 2012, I posted a 3+2 bedroom, 3 bathroom mid-century bungalow on a 75 x 163.97 foot lot at 12 York Valley Crescent in Hogg's Hollow...
It was a great house that had an entryway that looked like this...
And I loved it. But considering the houses across the street looked like this...
I assumed it would get torn down and turned into one of those house.
It didn't. Instead, they updated it and practically every photo could be in a magazine. I don't love the kitchen and that layout with the dining table in the kitchen is a bit weird though it does remind me of the condo that I loved at 95 Bathurst Street (though I liked that kitchen a LOT more).
But I love the rest of this house.
I really like how they kept some aspects of the old house. And I like how they kept the master on the first floor with the kids' bedrooms upstairs.
And I really like that they kept the feel of some of the rooms like the family room. Here is is before...
And here it is now...
Overall, I really like what they have done and I love that they didn't tear it down to build another stone facade new build.
In 2012, it was listed at $2,795,000.
I'm not sure what it sold for but it is now back on the market.
The asking price is...
$6,890,000.
