On Saturday, I posted this 5+1 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on a 75 x 255.55 foot lot with a 2 car garage at 40 Edgar Avenue in North Rosedale.

It was a beautiful old house and was part of a stretch of houses that don't go on the market very often.

According to a reader, it last sold to the current owners in 1991 (for $1.575).

They added a family room addition.  It also looks like they probably renovated most of it then as well.  And I don't think much has changed in the last 25 years which is fine if you are into that style, but it could use updating if you aren't.

Either way, it was a great opportunity if this was your price range.

And apparently someone agreed because as it turns out, it had already sold when I posted it.

It was listed at $6,450,000.

It sold...

For (approximately) $6,400,000.
