AND IT WENT FOR - 56 Lippincott Street TH #1 - KENSINGTON (1 Comment)

Last week, I posted this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom townhouse with 1 parking spot at 56 Lipponcott Street in Kensington.

It was basically the same townhouse as the one that was listed in 2014 when it was the Toronto Life Condo of the Week with the canoe suspended from the ceiling...

And the townhouse at #5 that was the blogTO Condo of the Week last year.  It did not have a canoe hanging from the ceiling...

It was a different place but same development.

Those places were listed respectively at $1,049,000 in 2014 and $1,245,000 in 2015.  According to a reader, they sold for approximately $1,030,000 and $1,200,000.  

Last week, this place was listed at $1,249,000 (with $647.84/month condo fees).  I thought they were hoping for $1,325,000.

According to another reader, it sold...

For $1,625,000.

Which is a 35% increase from the similar townhouse at #5 just a year ago.
