FORMER CANADIAN HOUSE AND HOME EDITOR SELLS HOUSE
On Friday, I posted this 3+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom single family house on a 23.92 x 110 foot lot with 3 parking spots at 37 Lakeview Avenue in Dufferin Grove.
It was a house that I posted in 2012 the first time owners, former Editor-in-Chief of Canadian House and Home magazine, Suzanne Dimma and her husband, Arriz Hassam, one of the principals behind 3rd Uncle Design Inc. listed their house.
At the time, the house was split into 3 apartments and after a day or so of it being on the market, Dimma and Hassam decided to delist the house and renovate instead with much of it being covered on the House and Home website.
In 2012, the house was listed at $1,650,000. I thought they could probably get closer to $1,800,000. They never sold.
After being renovated into a single family home, the price was $2,650,000.
Even though it was only a 3 bedroom house, I thought it could sell closer to $2,950,000.
It sold the day after I posted...
For $2,954,000.
