This is a 4+1 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi with 1 parking spot on a 19 x 125 foot lot at 44 Rainsford Road in the Beach Triangle.
It's a house that used to look like this...
It has since been fully gutted with an opening from the first floor to the third floor which could be a deal breaker for some but the selling feature for others.
As for the renovation, I like it. I really like the kitchen. But I'm not so crazy about the bathrooms and I don't get the master bathroom at all. I think having the open sinks right in the bedroom would drive me crazy...
And it's things like those sinks that might be the reason why this house that was the Toronto Life House of the Week over a week ago is still on the market.
Or maybe they just aren't being offered the price that they want because 12 days ago, this house was listed at $1,389,900. It has now had an increase to $1,499,999.
It is a good reno but for that price, I don't think I could get past those sinks.
It is a pretty great kitchen though.
