This is a 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house with 2 parking spots on a 33 x 222 foot ravine lot at 73 Astley Avenue in Rosedale.
It is a house that was listed 2 years ago when it looked like this (scroll to view all photos)...
Since then, they have done some work that looks really good.
They opened up the house between the dining room and the kitchen/family room area with a beam that some might like and some might not but it matches the pre-existing beam in the kitchen. They changed the railing on the stairs which makes a HUGE difference. And they removed the kitchen peninsula and replaced it with an island and new counter top.
And even though it wasn't a lot of changes, it makes a big difference...especially that railing. Plus, it is staged...with lots of pillows.
In 2015, it was listed at $1,759,000. I'm not sure what it sold for.
It is now listed at $2,650,000.
It is 4 bedrooms, but with just an island, new countertop, and new railings as the only main updates (that are visible), even though it does look a lot better...
That seems kind of high.
