4444 Rue Rivard - THE PLATEAU, MONTREAL (3 Comments)
This house is very intersting.
It is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2830 square foot house on a 25.11 foot wide lot at 4444 Rue Rivard in the Plateaul neighbourhood of Montreal.
It is literally steps to the Mont-Royal subway station with it being located directly across the street...
Which is a good think or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.
I wish there were more photos because there is a lot to see here. It is clear that the owners are into art and cooking.
And from a quick google, I came across a website called Baron Magazine announcing a Vegan Pot Luck that took place here a year ago.
As the site says, 'Baron mag is an online magazine that focuses on culture, design and entrepreneurship in all its manifestations.'. It was started by 'Nelson Roberge and Leonardo Calcagno, also behind the Bang Bang publications, Rien à Déclarer (RAD), Motel and Perle' and has been run by them since 2009 with the editor Chief is Maryse Boyce (it is now run by ExtraCaramel which I am assuming is still Roberge and Calcogno but I am not sure)...
So, I could be wrong but, my guess is that this is the home of one of those 3.
And there is a lot about it to love if this is your style. There are exposed beams, there is a garage door that opens to the back patio, there is another garage door that opens to what I think is a second floor patio that gets lots of sun...
And this kitchen...
I think I have seen it on the internet somewhere before.
When I searched the address, I saw a post that said that this house had once been listed at $1,499,000.
According to the current listing, the asking price is now $1,399,000.
P.S. If you like the original French version of Baron, apparently there is a an English version as well that includes Ontario stuff.
