SOLD - 220 Heath Street East - MOORE PARK (9 Comments) *UPDATE*
This is a 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house with 3 parking spots on a 30 x 120 foot lot at 220 Heath Street East on the west side of Mount Pleasant in Moore Park.
It is a new build on a lot where the house used to look like this...
The second I saw the photos, I realized that it looked really familiar...and it wasn't the staging.
This house had the same fireplace as the house at 171 Stibbard Avenue in Sherwood Park that I posted in February...
That was 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 31 x 150 foot lot. It was listed at $3,495,000 but I am not sure for what or when it sold.
Two years ago, before this house was torn down, it was listed at $1,325,000. With the new build that was on a slightly shorter lot than Stibbard but closer to downtown was initially listed in September with an asking price of $2,995,000. At least that was the price in December when it was the blogTO House of the Week.*
I guess in January, it came back on the market for $2,790,000.
It sold last week for approximately 3% less than asking.
It's basically the same house as Stibbard so I am not sure why it sold for so much less...
Unless Stibbard sold WAY under ask a year ago.
P.S. Thoughts on the fireplace tile pattern?
*UPDATE: Thank you to the reader below who pointed out that I was confusing this house with another house at 226 Heath Street East (must have been the staging) that was the blogTO House of the Week in December.
This house was listed in September for $3,250,000 and sold just under ask in 2 weeks.
But that does make a lot more sense!
