PRICE INCREASE - 53 Palmerston Avenue - TRINITY-BELLWOODS, TORONTO (5 Comments)

In February, I posted this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with 1 parking spot on a 18.75 x 135 foot lot at 53 Palmerston Avenue in Trinity-Bellwoods.

It was a house that used to look like this...

Apparently it used to be a coach house with a driveway running right throught it.

Which is what would explain the bi-level first floor…

But as a house, it was really impractical and made the dining room/living situation kind of cramped and dangerous…

But I did like the finishes of the house. It’s just that it wasn’t that big and that first floor was going to be an issue…

Especially at the first asking price of $2,999,888.

It didn’t sell and 5 months later the price was dropped to $2,499,000. I wasn’t sure that was going to be enough.

Turns out, it never sold and it is now back on the market with new staging, a privacy blind at the front window, and a glass railing to stop a dining room chair from ending up upside down in the living room.

And a new price.

The new asking price for this house is…

$2,788,800.

If they had extended out the back to make a house wide living area and made the current living room the dining room, I could kind of get it.

Otherwise, this is pretty high.
